I teach a variety of different styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Mandala and Pre Natal Yoga

❧ ❧ ❧

Vinyasa Flow: This class is all about finding the connection between the mind, body and breath through movement. My years as a dancer have heavily influenced my style of yoga. I use creative sequencing along with my knowledge of the body to create my classes, always basing them around a theme. We work through relaxation, pranayama asanas and mindfulness to create a deeper understanding of ourselves and our practice.

❧ ❧ ❧

Yin: This style is very different to a flowing yoga class. It is much slower in pace, and postures are held for between 2-7 minutes at a time. During the practice of yoga the connective tissues of the body and the fascia are stretched rather than just the muscles.

❧ ❧ ❧

Mandala Vinyasa: This is a dynamic style of vinyasa where we move circularly around the mat connecting movement to breath. The practice starts and ends with a few Yin poses which open and close the practice beautifully. Each class is based around a different element: Earth, Fire, Water or Air which also corresponds to a Chakra and a group of muscles. The repetition and spiralling quality of this practice allows you to connect on a deeper level.

❧ ❧ ❧

Gentle: These classes are all about finding space in the body in a nurturing gentle way. A lot of the class is centred close to the floor in seated, kneeling and table top postures. Perfect for people that are new to yoga or anyone wanting to slow the practice down. Soft, flowing movements and breath work will open up the body and bring relaxation to both body and mind. A great way to slow our busy lives down and find some calm and clarity.

❧ ❧ ❧

Prenatal: This gentle yoga practice uses breath work, relaxations and soft movements designed to bring space to areas of the body that become especially tight and tired during pregnancy. This practice is a perfect way for Mum's to be to connect with themselves as well Baby. Slowing down and really giving time to focus solely on the two of you. A great way to meet other Mum's to be and share your experiences with each other in a safe, comforting space.
